World Economic Forum: Premier Li Qiang says China is growing and open for business
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chinese Premier Li Qiang highlighted the importance of keeping global supply chains "smooth and stable". He said the growing North-South divide was becoming more acute, and stressed the need to cooperate on development. Mr Li told business leaders that Beijing is open for business. He added that investment in the Chinese market is not a risk, but much more of an opportunity. The World Economic Forum said more than 2,800 leaders from 120 countries, including more than 60 heads of state, are taking part in the annual meeting.
